Although a popular venue for dining out, the Jack Mytton Inn is also a friendly pub serving Hindford and the surrounding area. Locals and holidaymakers are equally welcome in any of the bars.

The main bar provides a cosy retreat on a winter's evening with its roaring log fire. In the warmer months the unique Spanish-style outside bar is a favourite meeting place; visitors can relax in the sheltered courtyard or select a picnic bench on the lawns beside the canal.

A speciality of the house is the range of real ales which changes weekly. It includes locally-brewed guest ales as well as favourites from as far away as Cornwall.

Coffee is available throughout the day together with bar snacks.
